Any opponauts in the southern California region with some track day experiences? I am looking to do Streets of Willow in November, but I am having a hard time choosing between Speed Ventures and ExtremeSpeed Events. Can anyone chime in?
I have done one event with ExtremeSpeed, and I would like to say I had a wonderful time. By the third run of the day, mostly everyone was gone, leaving the track (Horse Thief Mile) free of most slower cars. The regulations seemed fairly lax, which I am okay with. As a bonus, they also offer free lap timing and free lunch!
I am looking into Speed Ventures because it appears they allow passengers. I want to bring my girlfriend along, so this is a large factor. However, they don't have free lap timing, or free lunch. I am also afraid they may be too strict? I want to be able to pass people should need be.
